"It's so great to be part of the new digital way of sourcing flowers. I used to work at a wholesaler day and night. Now I can work from home, selling a great digital platform, and let customers receive flowers 5-10 days fresher than at a local wholesaler. We have online meetings almost every day and the whole team comes together once or twice a year. The team vibe is so good in the company!"

            - Allie, sales manager.

            What will you be doing?

            • As the Senior Product Owner/Product Manager you will regularly discuss product improvements and new features with various – international (US & Colombia) – stakeholders to ensure product goals are met. The ideal candidate can therefore communicate easily and confidently.
            • You provide a strong long term vision, ensuring that the team always stays on the right track and knows exactly how and where they can have the most impact - providing faster and better gains as a result. You will build and become this solid structure through close cooperation with the CTO and IT Team (UI/UX) located in Colombia. Together you will deliver on product and client needs.
            • In order to make the very best user products in the field of flowers, the Senior Product Owner/Product Manager cannot rely on a gut feeling alone. When new features are built, they are based on (market) research, analytics data and best practices from support from UI researcher/ UX.
            • Implementing an Agile way of working and integrating it across the teams and the broader company.
            • Define and prioritize product backlog items to deliver maximum value to our customers.
            • Implement and improve e-commerce strategies to achieve our growth ambitions.
            • Build and lead a team with the potential to eventually take on the role of Chief Product Officer.
            • Work flexibly to bridge different time zones.

What do you bring to the job?

            • At least 8 years of experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager in an e-commerce
              environment.
            • You have experience in a role that combines the strengths of both a Product Owner and a Product Manager. As a Product Owner, you take full ownership of the product, managing its entire lifecycle, ensuring smooth handovers within the organization, and staying actively involved during the implementation process. Meanwhile, as a Product Manager, you maintain a higher-level overview, architecting features into a strategic pipeline, and aligning them with larger business goals, all while keeping an eye on the future direction of the product.
            • Experience in an international e-commerce scale-up with a proven track record of growth.
            • A non-corporate and an entrepreneurial mentality; you are hands-on and are (at times) willing to accommodate team needs at unconventional hours.
            • Visionary capabilities; you possess an evolutionary mindset and are capable of supporting a product evolution and implementation over time.
            • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
            • Due to experience, the ideal candidate is adept at defining and communicating the required features clearly and translating them into product requirements perfectly. Smooth cooperation with IT is key, as is the ability to represent both the voice of the business and the voice of the users.
            • A results-oriented mindset and the drive to achieve our ambitious growth targets.
            • Client orientated; you’re adept at reading client business requirements and translating them into digestible KPI’s via means of creating clear and concise information decks and conceptually rich road maps.
            • Affinity with the Agile approach to working and the capacity to set up and implement an Agile team.
            • Ability to say “No”; rather than adopting ad-hoc ideas of value for short term impact, you’re able to provide hands-on stewardship and support to the team by staying aligned to long term business requirements.
            • Excellent command of the English language; proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
            • Flexibility to effectively collaborate with teams in different time zones (US and Colombia).
            • The ability to identify customer needs and translate them into actionable initiatives that drive necessary product or UI changes, with a focus on reinforcing and prioritizing growth.

            What we offer

            • Dynamic working environment: Join a fast-growing, international team in a non-corporate setting where innovation and collaboration thrive.
