Floral Design Trends in the Wedding Industry for 2023
As we dive deeper into the vibrant and dynamic world of weddings in 2023, one thing is clear – the...
🌾 We love Pampas Grass! 🌾
When it comes to wedding decor options, Pampas Grass is definitely one of our favorites.
It is an excellent option for any event looking to add an organic touch or a vintage look. But the size, volume, and texture of the grass are also perfect for larger-scale installations!
The lush plant is used in bouquet arrangements and other floral designs because of its long slender leaves and pleasantly sweet smell. It brings a sense of gentle beauty and tranquility to any space, wedding, or even. In other words, the pampas grass trend is all about the natural elements.
This grass has been trending in the floral and interior design world for a while now, popping up in everything from vases to air installations! We love how it contrasts with other materials like wood or metal furniture and textures often found in homes and (wedding) event spaces today; adding some natural textures and vintage vibes into the space will help everyone relax and feel refreshed!
Have you tried using it to create an inviting atmosphere by adding green accents or decorating with other botanical elements like moss and flowers?
Pampas has the ability to transform a space. Place your Pampas in beautiful big vases to create simple but stunning room decoration.
Do you have classic big urns to fill? Combine the use of pampas grass with big hydrangea heads and white orchids to add that wow factor to a spacious room or a big ceremony space.
Pampas clouds are all the rage at the moment, and we totally agree! They are stunning and fill up big spaces with natural elements. Besides, the texture of the grass does wonders for sound reduction and resonance in big spaces!

To create a small pampas clouds ball you need just 3 main tools:
Make sure that your pampas grass is dry first!
1. Form a loose ball shape from the chicken wire and use clippers to trim away the excess wire. You can make the chicken wire a bit more loose by rolling it a little and softly bend it a bit.
2. Place three to four small self-adhesive hooks to your ceiling. If you can use real hooks in the venue, that's even better! Hang the wireframe using the fishing line or clear wire.
Tip: You can spray the pampas grass with (cheap) reliable hairspray before you place them in the chickenwire! This might help against shedding when they are hung to the ceiling. Always shake each reed outdoors first to remove any loose pieces.
3. Place the pampas grass stems diagonally in any direction or configuration you want. Keep it spare, or fill out the whole frame. The choice is all up to you!
Add some creativity by weaving them into baskets or placing them on lengthy tabletop as big, eye-catching centerpieces. Have you ever thought about twisting lengths together to create an intriguing arrangement with more dimension?
We don't know about you but we sure can't stop buying oversized vases... No idea where we'll place them, but we need them anyway! Place a couple of pampas stems in your favorite vases and let them shine on your living room floor!
Also, try placing the reeds against a black wall to create a beautiful mystical contrasting image!
Do you have a mantel at home or in the space you need to decorate? Throw everything out and place an eye-catching middle-sized vase with different length stems on your mantel that will catch anyone's attention when they walk through the door!
